Information about our Rhyl Clubs we ran over Easter
Do you have a child that likes LEGO or Minecraft? Are they a budding animator? Do they love robotics? Maybe they’re a young Indiana Jones in the making and enjoy exploration – then don’t fear, as G2G is here, we have something for everyone.
LEGO Animation using an iPad
Are you passionate about LEGO? do you want to make a short LEGO movie? Then and come and join us, you can use all our LEGO and scene backgrounds with our iPad’s (or bring your own) to shoot your very own LEGO movie. Lights, camera, action! Bring LEGO to life!
LEGO Robotics Club
Use our LEGO Robots, programme them to follow lines, interact with other Robots, pick up and place objects, react to commands and much more. You will be amazed at what your Robot will be able to do – we’ll have some fun activities and games to play with these real-world robotics.
LEGO WeDo Robotics Club
LEGO Education WeDo is a fantastic, simple-to-use tool that you will use to learn, construct and then spring the LEGO WeDo robots into action. You will use a range of skills at all levels for Computing, Science, Language, Technology and Engineering to build some fantastic robots.
We have built a range of custom LEGO WeDo Models. You won’t find these anywhere else! Watch some of our custom built LEGO Models in action.
Minecraft EDU Club
You will be visiting Minecraft EDU the world of humanities, which is a vast, virtual environment that simulates exploration of ancient history. It plays similarly to a “World of Warcraft” RPG, in that it engages students with the discovery of ancient history and geography.
You will discover areas themed to ancient civilizations, go on quests, meet characters from history, and collaborate to build themed projects from history.
