Helping to provide experience, build confidence and gain qualifications
- Supported over 13,000 adults & children across North Wales with our courses, services and LEGO Education
- Over 6,000 learners supported at our learning centre in Rhyl
- Supported over 400 individuals in some of the highest areas of deprivation in Wales to gain industry recognised qualifications as part of a WCVA/Gateway project
- 80 adults furthest away from employment to gain experience, qualifications and employment in Denbighshire and Conwy as part of the DWP ‘New Skills / New Life’ programme
- Volunteers worked for four weeks to make accessible pathways at the Woodland Skills Centre in Bodfari
- Delivered LEGO Education on behalf of Conwy Family Learning
- Delivered LEGO Education on behalf of Flintshire Family Learning
- Delivered ‘Castles in the air’ to twenty adults as part of the NIACE Adult learners week
- Delivered ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ to over 100 people
- Worked with Anwyl Construction to highlight site safety using our LEGO Education
- Delivered a range of arts and crafts, sewing and other courses for North Denbighshire Communities First
- Worked in partnership with Wrexham Communities First – Urban Village to deliver a range of ‘work skills’ to those furthest away from employment
- Worked in partnership with North Denbighshire Communities First to deliver a range of courses and awareness raising sessions to those in high areas of deprivation

Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) subjects in Schools
- Delivered LEGO Education to Schools in Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy Anglesey and Gwynedd
- Delivered LEGO Education to five Schools under the ‘reaching wider’ project
- Worked in partnership with Techniquest Wrexham to deliver LEGO Education in five schools across North Wales
- Delivered LEGO Education sessions as part of the Welsh Governments ‘Education begins at home’ programme
- Christchurch CP School Staff Development with our iPad training academy
- Christchurch CP School Scratch programming and LEGO robotics with over 20 pupils
- Undertook LEGO and iPad sessions with children in the Denbigh Hwb in partnership with Menter Iaith as part of their summer clubs

Working with historic sites to deliver fun learning events to everyone
- Delivered interactive LEGO Education & Minecraft EDU sessions based around Harlech Castle
- Delivered interactive LEGO Education & Minecraft EDU sessions based around Caernarfon Castle during Easter and Summer 2015 as part of the CADW ‘Pack your imagination’ campaign to over 400 children and parents

Working to help small businesses
- We’re working in partnership with the Prince’s Trust to support young aspiring entrepreneurs
- Mentored and coached forty entrepreneurs to set up their own business
- We’ve helped set-up over thirty online businesses. We developed a ‘Web in a Box’ package to help people get their business online
G2G Communities is actively involved
- Played an active role as members of the WCVA Board
- Played an active role as board member of the Denbighshire Voluntary Service Council DVSC
Striving to go from Good to Great (G2G) and raise awareness
- All our staff achieved ‘train the trainer’ qualification
- Embarked on the PQASSO quality standard
- Displayed interactive activities around Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) at the ‘Big Bang’ education event at the Welsh Rally in Deeside. Photo’s on Thursday or Friday.
- Produced an interactive case study and photographs for the Brenig Construction green space development at John Street Rhyl
- Produced a range of free learning resources on the G2G e-learning platform
- Became a City and Guilds test centre for City and Guilds Award for online basics
- Successful National Science Academy (NSA) space project All SySTEMs Go, launching 2016
