Scratch is designed to be fun, educational, and easy to learn. Millions of people are creating Scratch projects in a wide variety of settings, including homes, schools, museums, libraries, and community centres. As a LEGO Education Innovation Studio our sessions introduce a range of LEGO robotics pupils can control using Scratch. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.
We can deliver short taster sessions to raise awareness of coding and a short course of regular scheduled sessions to enable your pupils to develop their coding skills and move on to the next stage of programming for the LEGO WeDo, NXTs and EV3 robots.
Teachers we also deliver a one day ‘learn scratch teachers‘ session in-house or in our learning centre to bring you up to Scratch and deliver your own sessions in the classroom.
