We provide 3D printing services and educational workshops from our Sustainable 3D Printing Centre in Rhyl and throughout North Wales, we offer services, workshops and solutions tailored to you and your objectives. During 2018 we are aiming to build and launch a mobile 3D Print & Recycling Studio to travel throughout North Wales for 3D Printing & Recycling Education.

Learn how to use TinkerCad using shapes and building blocks to design, customise and create your own models to 3D Print.
Design with Fusion 360 (90 minutes)
Learn how to use Fusion 360 professional CAD design software, combines fast and easy modelling allowing you to take your designs to print.
Using Cura 3D Printing Software (90 minutes)
Learn how to prepare a model for 3D printing using the Cura slicing application, with over 200 settings, you will learn what’s best and the recommended settings for different types of models.

Discover our recommended online resources, educational materials, free software and models you can download and customise and how to use them.
We can help you to realise your dreams, we provide design services to help bring your product to life. Once you have your final prototype, you can take your digitally designed product to manufacture.
3D Printing Workshops
Design & 3D Print Workshops (60-180 minutes)
Choose from a range of models to 3D print i.e. Historical Artefacts; Fossils & Dinosaur Bones; Geographical Maps; Egyptian Hieroglyphics; Key Fob; Name Plate; Space Rover; Rocket; Toy; Mini figure’s & Vehicles, the possibilities are endless.
Turn 2D Drawings into 3D Objects (60-180 minutes)
Discover how to convert 2D drawings made on paper into 3D printed objects. Learners will get their completed designs that can be combined with the rest of the class into unique and changeable sculptures.
Join us in our Sustainable 3D Printing Centre to design, customise and 3D print. Print practical objects, models to be used in the classrooms, for a hobby or just for fun.
Why Recycle Plastic (30-60 minutes)
Learn about plastic recycling, why and how we are working to conserve energy, save natural resources, reduce greenhouse gasses and pollution, and reduce the amount of plastic waste that goes into our landfills, oceans, and natural environments.
Types of Plastic, Identify & What to Recycle (60 minutes)
Understand the different types of plastics, which are recyclable or reusable and ways you can recycle or re-use.
The Recycling Initiative (60 minutes)
Learn how you and your community can get involved and recycle, we will teach you the basics, how you can get started, free online resources and tools, groups and businesses you can work with.
Of the discarded plastic, roughly 9% has been recycled, 12% has been incinerated, 79% has gone to landfill. Current trends point to 12 billion tonnes of plastic waste will be in landfills by 2050.
8.3bn tonnes of plastics have been produced to date, half of this material was made in the past 13 years.
