We would like to thank the Rhyl Town Council Mayor, his Consort and members of Denbighshire County Council for starting off the plastic recycling project by pressing the button on the new plastic shredding machine.
The programme of 3D printing and recycling activities has been supported by Gwynt y Mor Community Fund, Innogy Renewables UK Ltd through the Rhyl Community Partnership and the GREGGS Foundation. The programme is managed by G2G Communities CIC and it has also contributed to the funding of this community project.
We were also extremely pleased to have pupils from Christchurch CP School present on the day. They were learning about plastic recycling and assisted the Mayor and his Consort by identifying the correct plastics that could be recycled.
We would like to extend our thanks to all organisations that have supported us to develop this programme, if any Business or organisation would like to discuss sponsorship opportunities or other support they could offer we would be pleased to hear from them, contact or call 01745 350765.
