You can feel safe in the knowledge that all our staff have undergone rigorous checks and are under constant development, they have:
- Undergone a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which means our staff are safe to work with vulnerable groups and children
- Achieved ‘train the trainer’ (builds on fundamental trainer skills) qualification Level 2
- We are taking part in a pilot project for the third sector quality kite mark PQASSO
- Some staff and volunteers have the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) Qualification
- Moira & Bill Lockitt have over 37 years’ experience in compulsory and further education, Bill has a Doctorate in Education and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) – williamlockitt.co.uk
As a LEGO Education Innovation Studio all staff are trained to use a range of LEGO and other resources including iPad’s; LEGO animation software; Minecraft Edu; Kerbal Edu; Scratch programming; Raspberry Pi and emerging educational hardware and software.
