October has proven to be a busy month for all the staff at G2G Communities CIC.
G2G Communities CIC recently delivered its very popular ‘Introduction to Digital Photography Course’ in Denbigh with some amazing photographs taken by the learners. Although the day looked grey, we were able to avoid the rain and the learners had a wonderful time taking photos around the historic town centre of Denbigh. After a quick break they then got to learn to use Picasa to edit their photographs and produce a multimedia movie using Windows Moviemaker. Some feedback from the learners included “Excellent course”, “Loved all of it”, “Enjoyed being shown rather then lectured to” and “Very informative, enjoyed it immensely”.
G2G Communities CIC also delivered its first Manual Handling course for a local business with fantastic results and everyone enjoying it immensely. The tutor Emily Rushton is a Registered General Nurse and was able to deliver a comprehensive course in a fun and interactive way that learners could relate to.
Feedback included ‘lots of new things, training was a lot of fun’, ‘I found this course very interesting and useful’ and ‘realising the most simple things that can help a lot’.
