All the Staff & Volunteers at G2G Communities CIC would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
G2G Communities CIC has been awarded another WCVA Gateway contract to continue its work regarding supporting people back into employment in the New Year. It has also been lucky enough to be awarded a small Lottery grant to fund more free courses and a new programme of events and activities will be available in January so keep an eye on the website.
G2G has also successfully delivered a ‘Health and Wellbeing’ short half day courses giving information on easy ways to lose weight and stay healthy. This is being run by our tutor Emily who is a qualified and practicing registered nurse with some amazing feedback – we’re glad you all enjoyed it and had fun while learning!
Emily our registered nurse will also be running ‘First aid and CPR’ and ‘Manual Handling’ courses during 2012 and these have proved to be very popular with learners and organisations, if you’re interested you can contact us.
Another new course is the G2G ‘Introduction to Jewellery making’ which has just finished running in Denbigh. Everything everyone made they were able to take away with them. It has been so successful that two of the learners are looking into jewellery making as a career and many more want further courses, you can watch the video below of some photographs taken on the course – we’ll be runnning more ‘Introduction to Jewellery making’ in Rhyl in the New Year!
