Free Online Introduction Session

LEGO® Based Therapy (LBT) is now widely used in Schools to help children develop a wide range of essential skills. It was first introduced by Le Goff et al in 2014 and its effectiveness with children with additional learning needs is now well recognised and researched worldwide.

However, although there has been some use of LBT with adults there is little research, papers, publications, or case studies, available. The online session will highlight the benefits using LBT could have, if properly implemented, with adults with the onset of Dementia/Alzheimer’s, additional learning needs, the elderly in care or individuals with physical, mental issues or wellbeing issues.

The free introductory session is available to:

• Staff working in residential care home within Denbighshire
• Staff working with clients with the onset of Dementia/Alzheimer’s
• Carers working with the elderly or those showing early signs of Dementia/Alzheimer’s
• Carers working with young adults with additional learning needs

Date: Tuesday 8th November 2022
Time: 16.00 to 16.40
