Launch of New Programme in September 2017

We will be launching a new programme designed to support young people who are at risk of underachieving at school or college to engage with and succeed in education.

We will be providing flexible provision for 11-19 year olds who are experiencing challenges with attendance, attainment or motivation and may be at risk of exclusion or not attaining the grades they are capable of and to help disadvantaged young people who are struggling to develop important character skills through relevant, engaging and informal learning.

Watch out for the launch with further information on our Facebook Page

3D Printing Centre & Plastic Recycling Workshop

We are still hard at work getting our 3D Printing Centre fully operational, our newest printer, number 3, or as we have nicknamed it 'Indigo' is still under construction with printer 2 'Blue' hard at work printing off the components to upgrade Indigo.

Indigo will be our first enclosed 3D Printer, with the enclosure built from an IKEA table and plastic sheets. We have Raspberry Pi's set-up to manage the printers from anywhere in the building, webcams to watch the jobs and can even manage everything remotely - which makes life a lot easier.

Over the next few weeks we'll be finishing off installing all the upgrades to all the printers and start working towards our plastic recycling - while printing off some fun things to show you, keep an eye on our Facebook Page for some videos and photographs of what we are up to.

You can find out more information & about our project on our website - http://G2GCommunities.org/Sustainable-3D-Printing -

Gwynt y Mor

Gwynt y Môr Community Fund

We are working with the Gwynt y Môr Community Fund to run a programme of activities to get people back into employment, full or part time education, training and giving them the skills for life-long learning. We also provide website design services and training to provide skills to make a success of their businesses online - g2gcommunities.org/pop-up-people-case-study/gwynt-y-mor. The project will help to reduce unemployment and create future jobs as their business grow.

Fresh Start’ Course Funded by Gwynt y Môr

The Gwynt y Môr project being delivered by G2G Communities CIC is supporting a further eight people furthest away from employment to gain experience and qualifications relevant to local employment opportunities.
