Christchurch CP School in Cloud 9

Parents and children from Christchurch CP were the first School to pilot a new information technology programme called ‘Cloud 9’. The six sessions were delivered by G2G Communities CIC between 09.00 and 10.15. The sessions were designed to enable the children to become ‘Digital Champions’ and they helped their parents/guardians learn some new skills using laptop computers and iPads. The sessions were supported by Digital Communities Wales and North Denbighshire Communities First.

Moira Lockitt (Director) said ‘G2G Communities CIC was pleased to be asked to deliver this pilot programme and the feedback from parents, children, School and other partners has been extremely positive’. ‘We hope to have the opportunity to roll this programme out to other Schools across North Wales from September 2016.
